Born in the small town of Winslow and raised among the tall pines of Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2015, I made my home in beautiful Bend, Oregon, where my artistic journey truly began to evolve.
I started with charcoal, carefully crafting portraits that honored the soul behind every face. When my grandmother passed away, I inherited her treasured oil paints. It took me some time to pick up the brush—but when I finally did, I fell in love with the richness, depth, and challenge of oils. Portraits remained my passion until my husband encouraged me to try something new. That became what I now call Friday Night—the birth of my still life series and a whole new direction in my work.
With the support of family and friends, I began creating prints and founded Brandie Riner Art. While prints opened one door, another unexpected one captured my imagination: painting on wood slices. This playful shift brought me into the world of hand-painted coasters and magnets—each piece a tiny, joyful celebration of color, form, and texture.
Whether on canvas or wood, my goal is to create pieces that bring warmth, connection, and a touch of story into everyday spaces. Thank you for being here and supporting this journey.
